The newly constructed Custer State Park Visitor Center is open to the public 8 a.m. - 8 p.m. MDT.

A herd of 1,300 bison roams freely throughout the park, often stopping traffic along the 18-mile Wildlife Loop Road. The herd is one of the largest publically-owned herds in the world.

Custer State Park boasts several scenic drives that explore the diversity of the area. From the granite spires of Needles Highway to the bison along WIldlife Loop Road.

On a quiet street, just an easy 2 blocks to downtown Hill City, we offer cabins and motel rooms (sleep 2-10) with varying amenities. Welcome to Custer's Gulch RV Park where wildlife, such as deer and elk roam around the grounds just as they did 125 years ago when General Custer camped in this very same spot while on his expedition to the Black Hills. Located just minutes from many of the most popular Black Hills Attractions including Mt. Rushmore and Crazy Horse Memorial.

This lovely all stone exterior vacation home is fully furnished and well supplied with all the things needed for a great stay.  It is tastefully decorated with several stone and nature features inside which will appeal to both make and female in the group.  It has 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms.  With a total of 6 beds it can accommodate 10-12 people with plenty of room for all.  This home has 2 bedrooms, bath, kitchen, dining area, living room and laundry room on each of the 2 floors.

There is a patio and 2 decks with picnic tables, chairs and gas grill for outdoor cooking or just to enjoy a rest after a full day of site seeing.  The back of the house has a low to the ground deck to the main floor for anyone who has a problem with climbing stairs.  

The central location is great for visiting all the main attractions of the Black Hills area.  There is close access to ATV trails and the Mickelson Trail for hiking and biking from the house.

This home is operated and managed by the owner so we are available to accommodate you in any way we can.
