Lane of Lights Museum Drive-Hill City

New this year Hill City’s Lane of Lights on Museum Drive. Drive Museum Drive to enjoy the Lane of Lights. The lights will be on starting at 6pm-10pm daily. On Fridays and Saturdays there will be Hill City Helpers to welcome the visitors.

Trees and Trains Exhibit at the South Dakota State Railroad Museum
December 26, 2020 - December 27, 2020
Trees and Trains is for the entire family. Walk around the beautiful decorated South Dakota State Railroad Museum to view the different Christmas trees on display. The Christmas trees have been decorated by different organizations and local people. Times are 11 am-5 pm.

Holiday Express on the 1880 Train
December 26, 2020 - December 27, 2020
Experience the magic as you take a one hour, round trip journey from Hill City to the North Pole where Santa will board the train and ride back to Hill City, taking time to visit with each child on the way. Passengers enjoy hot cocoa, a sugar cookie and a special story on the way to the North Pole. Santa will hand out a small sleigh bell to each child on the trip.
One hour, round trip; ½ hour each way. The Holiday Express travels to the North Pole (Oblivion) and back. It does not travel to Keystone.

2 and under ride FREE
Group rates are not available for special event rides.
