Miner Music Series Presents: The Two Tracks
February 23, 2019 7:30 pm - 9:00 pm

Mark your calendars, music fans! A favorite at Miner Brewing Company, The Two Tracks return to Hill City for a Miner Music Series performance on Saturday, Feb. 23, in the Tap Room.
The Two Tracks are based out of Sheridan, Wyo., at the foot of the Bighorn Mountains. The band features Julie Szewc on vocals and acoustic guitar, David Huebner on electric guitar and cello, Fred Serna on drums, and Taylor Phillips on bass. With rock, country, bluegrass, and folk influences, The Two Tracks craft a timeless sound that embodies the sentiment and sensitivity of the American heartland and the rugged journeyman’s spirit of the mountain west.
The band self-released its second album, “Postcard Town,” in May 2017. Recorded at the Butcher Shoppe Studio in Nashville and produced by Will Kimbrough, “Postcard Town” will appeal to both country and rock music fans, with Szewc and Huebner’s just-right vocal harmonies combining to form what Americana journal No Depression described as “a musical banana split of consequence.”

Sip N Paint, Paint your Pet, Prairie Berry Winery,
March 16, 2019 2:30 pm - 5:30 pm

Want to paint your pet?
Temple Estrada, a local painter and Executive Director of Keystone Chamber of Commerce will be on-site at Prairie Berry Winery Saturday, March 16 from 2:30–5:30 p.m. for an afternoon of wine and painting. For this edition of our popular Sip ‘N Paint, she’ll help you paint your four-legged friend with a customized guide.
Whether you’re a beginning painter wanting to learn or just want to enjoy some laughs and good wine with friends, this event will teach you not to be afraid of painting (the wine also might help conquer that fear).
Cost is $40 and includes a private wine tasting, a complimentary glass of wine, and all painting materials. Tickets are available in the Prairie Berry Winery Tasting Room or by calling 605-574-3898. After you purchase your tickets, you’ll need to submit at least 3 high quality images of your pet, which will be used to create the guide for your painting.
The deadline to order tickets is February 28.
