Farmer's Market~ Prairie Berry Winery

The Farmer’s Market at Prairie Berry Winery will be open Tuesdays from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. July 17 through October in the lower parking lot of The Homestead.

Vendors from around the area will be selling their locally grown fruits and vegetables, as well as selling fresh baked goods and meats. This premier market focuses on providing the highest quality produce and freshest items.

Korczak Remembrance Day, Crazy Horse Memorial

Korczak Remembrance Day allows visitors to walk to the tomb of sculptor Korczak Ziolkowski (1908-1982) to pay their respects to him, his wife Ruth Ziolkowski, daughter Anne & son-in-law James Howe, laid to rest in the family cemetery. This is the one time of the year that visitors are permitted to this area of the property and is a time for reflection as we move forward with Korczak & Ruth’s vision

Girlfriends' Weekend

Hill City's 6th Annual Girlfriends' Weekend is just around the corner. Starting when the stores open on Nov. 9-11, nearly every store in town will cater to the ladies and help you REJUVENATE! Come on up...rejuvenate your mind, your body, your spirit! 

Join us Friday evening for the annual Girlfriends' Weekend Fashion Show at the new Firehouse Smokejumper Station on Highway 385 just 2 miles north of Hill City. Get there early to grab a seat and enjoy a wine or brew and social hour before the show begins!  Doors open at 6pm.  The show starts at 7pm.  Donations at the Fashion Show benefit the Hill City Volunteer Fire Department.

Thanksgiving weekend

A family-friendly event that welcomes Christmas with a parade, Christmas tree lighting, roasted chestnuts, hot cider and cookies, and special guests and events throughout the town’s shops, attractions and train museum.  An old-fashioned small-town lighted parade kicks off at 6p sharp.  Santa visits with children and hands out apples at the SD State Railroad Museum following the parade.  A wonderful tradition to enjoy with your family!
