Community Harmony Concert - Fund Raiser for Boys and Girls Club
Performances from Acapella Show Case, Hill City Slickers, Foggy Bottom Band.  Tickets are being sold by the Boys and Girls Club on Walnut Drive. Call 574-2010 for information or ticket sales.

May 10-11 – Antique Evaluation Show and Sale 9-5 and 9-3
Have your antique items evaluated by local experts, history of items, approximate date of mfg. & by whom, approximate insurance value. Boys and Girls Club on Walnut Avenue.

May 10th – Art Extravaganza
Local artists demonstrate their talents on Main Street. Experience a wide variety of art media, exhibitions, art work for sale; celebrate Mother’s Day with a flower and an art appreciation tour.

June 7th – Black Hills “Overdrive” Annual Car Rally ,

June 7th Overdrive Black Hills “Overdrive” Annual Car Rally
Parade and Art on Wheels, “Street Rods,” Show and Shine on Main Street. Street Rods from around the nation are invited.

June – Black Hills Volksmarch – annual volksmarch starting from the Trailhead in Hill City.
Annual Volksmarch Walk starts at Tracy Park & Burlington Northern Trailhead of Mickelson Trail, Hill City, SD, 2K, 5K, and 20 K. For latest updates and Volksmarch information connect here.

June 28-29 – "Sculpture in the Hills," a juried sculpture show and sale features artists from across the nation along with city-wide art events all weekend. Hosted by Hill City Arts Council. www.hillcityarts.org.

July 26, 2007 – The Alice Smith Flower Show
Hosted by the Hill City Evergreen Garden Club, categories include: annual, perennials, potted specimens, arrangements, table settings and a children’s division. Ribbons awarded at judging. This 3rd annual show will be held at the Hill City Boys & Girls Club Auditorium. Free Admission. All entries welcome.

August 4-10th – Sturgis Rally

August 23rd Natural History Days

The Annual Celebration of our natural history is hosted by Black Hills Institute of Natural History and the Black Hills Museum of Natural History. Children’s activities as well as renowned speakers will be featured. Join us at the Natural History auction and a special RSVP Banquet. www.bhmnh.org

Sept. 20-21–Wine Train Into the West
Enjoy the fun of an exclusive experience on the 1880 Train, featuring a four-course meal served with Prairie Berry wines throughout the trip.

Parade, music, cowboy poetry western art, children’s games and horse events.

Sept. 19-21 – Mickelson Trail Trek
Join mountain bike enthusiasts in a three-day, 114 miles trek through the beautiful Black Hills. The George S. Mickelson Trail follows the historic Deadwood to Edgemont Burlington Northern rail line. This line passed through the heart of South Dakota’s Black Hills and was abandoned in 1983 and subsequently developed into a hiking, biking, and skiing experience in unsurpassed beauty.

Oct. 4th – Monumental Marathon
Run through the beautiful Black Hills of South Dakota in 2008. Mt. Rushmore Monument and Crazy Horse Memorial can be seen from the route. Raise money for official event charities or become an official charity. Some charities will even pay your way to the event by raising money for their charity.

November and December

Nov. 21st– Dec. 24th – Olde Tyme Hill City Christmas Celebration
The community comes alive during our Olde Tyme Hill City Christmas. Watch for these annual events: The Fezziwig Festival at Prairie Berry Winery, Dickens Celebration, and Nightime Olde Tyme Parade.

Nov. 20th – Dickens Celebration
Olde Tyme Hill City Christmas Celebrations start the day after Thanksgiving
with Dickens Celebration at the Alpine Inn. With chestnuts roasting in front of the Alpine Inn porch, carolers and musicians playing on Main Street. Enjoy hot apple cider, and cookies and watch the parade. Lighted Old Tyme Parade on Main Street with horse and wagon entries welcome.

December 6th & 7th – Fezziwig Festival at Prairie Berry Winery
An annual holiday event at the winery, this two-day festival features the winery and staff in holiday finery, tasting stations pairing food and wine, mulled wine, live music and commemorative glass and buffet plate to keep, plus full tours of the winery itself. 605-574-3898

December 5th & 6th and 12 & 13th – Cowboy Christmas Dinner and Show
This annual Christmas diner and show benefits Cornerstone Rescue Mission and Young Life Ministries. It features wonderful western cooking and lively and harmonic western music. 574-9003
