Join mountain bike enthusiasts in a three-day, 114 miles trek through the beautiful Black Hills. The George S. Mickelson Trail follows the historic Deadwood to Edgemont Burlington Northern rail line. This line passed through the heart of South Dakota’s Black Hills and was abandoned in 1983 and subsequently developed into a hiking, biking, and skiing experience in unsurpassed beauty.

Olde Tyme Hill City Christmas Celebrations start the day after Thanksgiving
with Dickens Celebration at the Alpine Inn. With chestnuts roasting in front of the Alpine Inn porch, carolers and musicians playing on Main Street. Enjoy hot apple cider, and cookies and watch the parade. Lighted Old Tyme Parade on Main Street with horse and wagon entries welcome.
