PILLOWCASE ROUND-UP:

The Pillowcase Round-up & Challenge is a brand-new community-service-oriented feature of the Quilt Show in Hill City that was introduced in 2016.

2020 will be the Fifth year of this special endeavor.  Last year more than 140 pillowcases were given away to kids in need as a result of the generosity of area quilters, so....TAKE UP THE CHALLENGE!

Area and regional quilters, those who love to sew and those who love kids are being asked to marry those loves and showcase them in a brand new way for a good cause at this year's annual September Hill City Quilt Show: "Made with Love:  Pillowcases to Comfort Kids."

"This is an awesome opportunity for our area quilters to share their love and help kids in a tough situation to have something to call their own," says Quilt Show co-chair Trina Curl.

"We're putting out the call to all of our quilters, quilt guilds, sewing groups, 4-H groups and anyone who loves sewing and loves kids to make this pillow-case round-up a special one since this is our second round-up challenge," adds co-chair Marian Johnson.

Pillowcases will be spotlighted in the Quilt Show's Bob Burden Gym under a special "Made with Love" theme. After the show, they will then be donated to organizations serving kids in need.

Pillowcase Challenge Drop-off & Deadline

Those who want to contribute pillowcases for the "Made with Love" Pillowcase Challenge & Roundup are invited to drop them off at:
The Farmer's Daughter.  Pillow-case drop-off deadline is 9/3/2020
