Desperados Cowboy Restaurant is awaiting you. The flavor of the West in an historic cowboy style dining room. This one of a kind, family owned restaurant, open seasonally for lunch and dinner was built in 1885. The restaurant is listed on the National Register of Historic Buildings in our beautiful Black Hills of South Dakota.

Come and enjoy an original home cooked meal while experiencing the atmosphere and history of a 130 year old former saloon and inn.......

Some of the cowboys favorites at Desperados for lunch are the following: 100% Black Hills Buffalo Burger, Meatless Portabella Mushroom Sandwich, Smothered Chicken Burrito and the Veggie Fiesta Wrap.

Looking for a great evening meal after a busy day of sightseeing? Try some of these tempting meals - fit for the cowboy and cowgirl in all of us. Bunkhouse Pork Ribs, Walleye Fillet, Bacon-Wrapped Chopped Buffalo Steak, Buffalo Burger or the tasty Porterhouse Pork Chop.

Some of our favorites on the Lil' Buckaroo menu are Build Your Own P,B & J Sandwich, Big Enough for a Real Cowboy Chicken Strip Basket and Mac & Cheese.

Finish off your great meal with one of our homemade desserts - Desperado Dan's favorites - Bread Pudding with a Whiskey Sauce or the Walnut Pie.
