The staff of the Harney Peak Hotel, now the home of the Alpine Inn, has sought to accommodate its guests for more than a century. Built in 1886, this historical landmark, with its reputation for fine dining, became the showplace of Hill City. Family owned and operated for over two decades, the Alpine Inn carries on this tradition. Desperados Cowboy Restaurant is awaiting you.  The flavor of the West in an historic cowboy style dining room.  This one of a kind, family owned restaurant, open seasonally for lunch and dinner was built in 1885.  The restaurant is listed on the National Register of Historic Buildings in our beautiful Black Hills of South Dakota.
