The Artists of the Black Hills is an organization of over 40 professional artists, artisans, and galleries formed in 2005 with the common goal of advocating the Black Hills as a premier art destination.

Our mission is the Boys & Girls Club Movement's reason for being: To enable all young people, especially those who need us most, to reach their full potential as productive, caring, responsible citizens.
Hill City's local Evergreen Garden Club is dedicated to promoting and educating others in the area of high altitude gardening and the plants best suited to our area. They also work to maintain local civic gardens in Hill City and at Crazy Horse Memorial. They also host the annual Alice Smith Flower Show, with a different theme each year.
Friends of the Hill City Community Library, Inc. was formed in 1981 as a local, non-profit organization with the goal of supporting the Hill City Community Library through volunteer efforts. The purpose of "The Friends" is to maintain an association of persons interested in the library community and to promote reading and learning for all ages.
Our mission is to enrich the cultural life of the area by nurturing and supporting
excellence in the arts, and providing opprotunitites for area citizens, students
and visitors to experience the arts in its myriad forms.

The World's Largest Service Club Organization

Our 46,000 clubs and 1.35 million members make us the world's largest service club organization. We're also one of the most effective. Our members do whatever is needed to help their local communities. Everywhere we work, we make friends. With children who need eyeglasses, with seniors who don’t have enough to eat and with people we may never meet.

Hill City Lion's Club- meeting Hill City needs through out the year! Lions make a difference every day everywhere. Whether by organizing a pancake breakfast fundraiser or building a wheelchair ramp for someone in need, we are a hands-on organization. Meetings are the first and third Monday of the month at Slate Creek Grille.

The Hill City Senior Center has been serving Hill City area seniors for over 30 years. It is a non-profit organization that is funded by fundraisers, member dues, and donations.

    We are an organization that promotes and encourages the use of ATV/UTV's within the State of South Dakota to promote legislation and regulations favorable to the use of recreational vehicles on Public Lands and access to Public Lands as well as the reopening of and development of sustainable trails in South Dakota. We also love to ride!

Tin City Masonic Lodge #112 is Hill City's own local Masonic Lodge group.
Masonry, also known as “Freemasonry,” is the oldest and largest fraternal organization in the world. Its purpose is to make good men better. Masons are men of charity and good works, respected leaders of their communities. Many of our nations’s founding fathers were Masons, including thirteen signers of the Constitution. Fourteen U.S. Presidents were brothers of the craft, beginning with George Washington. Over four-million Masons in the U.S., from diverse religious, professional and political backgrounds, have built this fraternity on the cornerstones of friendship, compassion, and brotherly love.
